Aaron Jeffery
The Logie
Award-winning actor of New Zealand and Australia, Aaron C. Jeffery. His roles
include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He was
also the character Matt "Fletch” Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born
in Auckland and moved to Australia when he was an teen. He then studied acting
at NIDA. After graduating in 1993 from NIDA, he began his television career
with the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best-known for his role
playing Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He left that drama in 2008. He also
appeared on the third season of Outrageous Fortune, a New Zealand drama.
Jeffery was also in the role of Frank in Underbelly: Badness. The filming ended
on the 22nd of June. The next day it was revealed that Jeffery was joining the
cast of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. It was announced that Jeffery
was assigned the role of Corrections Officer on Wentworth in October. Bevan
Lee's Between Two Worlds was also his role. In April 2021 , it was announced
that Jeffery will be a part of Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series that
was adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. In both 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won
the Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor in Drama Series for his role on McLeod's
Daughters.
