Rosanna Pansino Bio

Pansino made her debut appearance on TV as contestant on the second season of VH1's Scream Queens, a reality show in which the winner was awarded a part in one of the Saw films. She ended in 9th place. Following this, Pansino pursued her career as an actress, appearing in minor roles in shows like Parks and Recreation and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She started her YouTube channel after she was inspired by a couple professional acquaintances who'd also worked on YouTube, and had started creating videos to become more comfortable in front of camera. After recording the process of making themed treats at a party she launched her baking channel. This quickly gained momentum. The first baking videos she made gained an unstoppable following and soon, viewers began to ask for more. Pansino came up with the Nerdy Nummies series because she had never seen one on TV or on the Internet. She later admitted that during her early years of YouTube while she had still working as an actor, that she eventually had to choose between acting or YouTube, the ultimatum given by her agent. Despite the risks she faced when she was in that situation she was determined to stay on YouTube. Pansino said to Cosmopolitan in 2015: " At this point I was not making any money from YouTube. I knew that it was possible, but I wasn't making even a penny. I thought, I'm going to try this. I'm not going to let YouTube go. My agent is going to dismiss me. He did. This is when I invested all of my time and my money into my channel. Before I ever made a dime I was working full-time on my channel for more than a year. I had to survive on my savings. I lived in a tiny apartment that had, say three bedrooms and six people. bedrooms."
